About me:

My practice revolves around the body an its ornamentation as a site of spiritual significance, manifesting and being manifested by identity heavily tied to the individual. Personally I’m informed by my lived experience as a trans queer non-binary magic genius.

Interest in the uncanny and abject is central to the language of my practice, employed as a means of exploring personal expression through physicality to its barest form. The visceral has a close yet intangible relationship to my queerness in its deconstruction of the physical body as it relates to identity, rendering through flesh and physical expression an understanding of that which is innate, acquired or performed. My fields of exploration are centered in mythology, history and the otherworldly. The real and invented.

Abject expression is confrontational in its extremity, granted great power in its ability to instill a physiological or emotional response in a viewer. I find comfort in embodying this strangeness.
